where almost no one else was named Ingrid) walked down a quiet street, thinking out loud:

Who am I?

As she couldn't find an easy answer, and as far she was a wise little lady,
she went on asking:

What do I intend to be some day?

This time the easy answer came by itself:

Homo Ludens.

There was a blue book with a big black title “Homo Ludens” on a shelf beside Ingrid’s bed. She loved the design - it sounded kind of… “tasty”. When she asked what it meant, they told her that Ludens had no direct equivalent in their language, but it referred best to “play”, or such.

Another option for Ingrid was to become

An Astronaut.

Both choices sounded equally okay with her, so Ingrid happily ran down the sidewalk and jumped bravely into the Future.”

And next? Tell me what happened!

Nowadays, virtually walking down the same path, I realized that I have materialized both intentions. I knew that Winnie-the-Pooh’s approach (...want them both!)* worked perfectly.

Worked perfectly? But you became an Artist
and not an Astronaut…?

Yep. Let me explain.

The Artist is a human being, who is Free and Joyful. Arts have lots to do with the harmony of Vastness. I’m talking about Vastness, understood through the lens of dance (of lines, or colors, or sounds, bodies or whatever) with the help of expressions, interpreted with ease as an artwork.

Arts are not limited to Fine Art. Or Music, or Poetry, or any other…
Art is vibration. It’s everywhere, and you should be a Free soul to capture and play it. You must be Homo Ludens.

And…, while joyfully dancing through the Vastness, the Artist discovers outer worlds, creates links, transfers messages and visuals from there, just like the Astronaut  does.

What kind of art do you perform?

Well, I started as an illustrator.  I develop imaginary characters for different types of works of fiction, such as children's books, toys, multimedia apps or pure art. I help storytelling by visualizing fancy personalities and magical environment.
